David
My story is a little different than others, I was once 176kg back in 2017. After seeing my wedding photos/Videos I just had to make a change before it was too late. Fast track to 2021. I lost 85kg, Gained a HNC & HND in Fitness Health and exercise, Level 4 in Strength and conditioning and have now made a dream come true by opening my own facility, Project Strength & Fitness.

Gus
Hi I’m Angus, or “Gus”, and I’m one of the coaches here at Project Strength and Fitness! I have been coaching for around 8yrs, working with a wide range of groups and individuals, including youth athletics, general population, semi-professional rugby players, and more.
I studied my BSc(Hons) at Edinburgh Napier University, and MSc in Strength and Conditioning at The University of Edinburgh, and learned a lot about training principles, and how to apply these for different goals and different levels of ability. I got into the fitness industry because of my great interest in helping people perform or achieve their personal best. I thoroughly enjoy coaching and watching people experience the outcomes of their hard work and dedication!

I decided to pursue a career in fitness because I truly want to have a positive impact on others. I want to create a space for everyBODY to thrive; to love their body and feel confident within themselves. I’ll confess I’m not a gym addict, I love the benefits I get from working out but I also appreciate cake and meals out.. for me, it’s all about finding that balance.

That’s why I don’t put too much emphasis on aesthetics but more importantly for me, I focus on mindset changes. So let me be that guiding hand that helps you love every inch of you.
Junior Coach
Gemma
Hi I’m Gemma, a junior coach here at Project! I started training 1-1 with David back in January 2020 and the rest really is history. I fell in love with lifting weights and functional fitness after smashing my initial goal of losing weight and becoming happier in myself.

Fitness has changed my life so much that I decided to train to be a PT myself, and follow in David’s footsteps of changing peoples lives just like he changed mine! Currently I take classes HYBRID and SWEAT and can’t wait to continue to grow and learn everyday from David, Abi and Gus.
